Sharp Memorial Hospital,  San Diego, CA — Clinical Student

JANUARY 2022 - PRESENT

CVT student completing over 200 hours of clinical training while under the supervision of my proctor. Responsible for preparing preliminary reports for review and interpretation by cardiologist. Emphasis on primarily performing inpatient complete and limited echocardiograms and  TEEs. Additional studies:  Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, CHF, left ventricular assist devices, Gerbode defect, dilated cardiomyopathy, systolic and diastolic heart failure, Tetralogy of Fallot, prosthetic heart valves. Structural heart: placement of  MitraClip, TAVR deployment, Watchman implant. Equipment used: GE Vivid.

JUNE 2021 - PRESENT

CVT student completing over 400 hours of clinical training while under the supervision of my proctor. Emphasis on complete echocardiograms to evaluate for: regurgitant and stenotic heart valves, CHF, systolic and diastolic heart failure, shunt detection. Post-procedural echo for: TAVR, MAVR, mitral rings, tricuspid rings. Equipment used: Phillips.

Created and implemented the  standard operating procedures for front and back office. Accurately managed multiple orthodontists schedules. Prepared patient charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
